Lumin is well aware of the COVID 19 pandemic affecting our country. Our greatest challenge is to ensure the safety and health of our staff members and safeguard the jobs and economy of hundreds of families who are directly or indirectly connected to our company. We have implemented a series of internal protocols, which are fully aligned with the recommendations of the Uruguayan government and from the World Health Organization (WHO) within the framework of the Coronavirus National Plan The prevention measures we have adopted include teleworking, if possible, the incorporation of protocols for transportation services (we have increased the frequency and number of units), sanitization of units and cleaning protocols (we have reinforced hygiene routines and increased the number of hand sanitizer dispensers in all plant facilities). All national and international trips have been cancelled; we promote virtual meetings, whether via telephone or video conference. Attendance to events have also been suspended until further notice. We have restricted visits to our facilities In addition, we have implemented internal communication campaigns and are permanently in contact with our staff to maintain closeness and provide information. In LUMIN, we continue working to ensure that the health and safety of our staff and the communities we operate with are protected, to provide prompt answers, in line with the general provisions of the relevant authorities. Finally, we would like to thank our entire staff who is making a great effort and fully cooperating in view of this global sanitary situation; without their daily work, carefully following the safety and hygiene measures set out in the protocols, all this would not be possible.
