Lumin promotes initiatives aimed at social growth within several enterprises. In this context, LUMIN teamed-up with the Centro Barrio Nº2 in Barrio López of Tacuarembó, by providing 10 computers and plywood panels for the construction of new desks and the remodeling of the computer room/area. The inauguration took place on August 31.
Mara Pisano, Human Resources Manager at LUMIN stated, "We are very happy to collaborate with this Center as it brings people together and provides training for residents of the area, promoting their personal and educational growth as these are key values with which we identify as a company, and that we promote through various projects that we have been developing for a long time."
The Center is in the Juan Domingo López neighborhood and includes three neighborhoods in the area north of Tacuarembó, covering an area of 5 km2 and integrates the Juan Domingo López, Etcheverry and Villa Nueva neighborhoods, with more than 13,000 inhabitants
